Power Porridge is a warm breakfast for athletes. The preparation of Power Porridge with hot water and milk leads to a swelling and gelatinisation of the starch grains, which turns it into a pulpy consistency. Power Porridge is an ideal basis for long distances and ultra endurance performances.
Enriched with 13 important vitamins as well as Vitargo®, the patented carbohydrate out of waxy maize starch. Vitargo® has a molecular weight which is about 100 times higher than other cereal starches. It also contains OatWell®, a concentrated oatmeal rich in betaglucans (soluble food fibres) with gelling properties.
Use as energy-rich breakfast or pre-race meal. Take 2-4 hours before the activity, depending on the type of strain and duration.
Blend 3 scoops Power Porridge (approx. 60 g) into 100 ml of water + 100 ml of milk. Briefly warm up and leave for 2-3 min. Refine with cinnamon according to preference.
